This place certainly lived up to its name. It's very windy indeed. It was very sunny but the strong winds helps tremendously to cool down.

At the top, one can admire the very beautiful sea & mountains in the horizon. Feels great up here.

The odd but nice Windmill adds a relaxed country feel to the place.

Certainly, a nice place to visit.

After seeing it only in pictures, I got the chance to visit Windy Hill in person and it was a really great experience. You will need to walk about 10 mins from the main road to the windmill but the windmill is big and looks really nice in pictures. I love the view on the other side of the main road. It overlooks the beautiful ocean and is a stress reliever.

I was really mesmerized by the beauty of this place in Geoje when I visited Windyhill last week. It is my first time to visit this place with group of friends and i had so much fun. Nevermind the hot weather! This place can really remove the bad vibes from the sunlight because of the windy atmosphere. Plus the picturesque view of the windmill and the shore line. You can surely feel the positive energy coming from the sea and island. Don't forget to bring a good camera for SNS :)

I am looking forward for my next visit already! Korea really has a lot of beauties to see.

I don’t understand how this is listed in the top attractions to visit on Geoje.
The views are nice but there are better views from the top of mountains.
It’s a nice place if you are into taking photos for instagram. Lots of coffee shops and restaurants nearby.
We spent an hour here and that is including a long sit down admiring the view. It’s far away from everywhere else so unless you are staying nearby I wouldn’t bother making the long trip here

Windy Hill is a beautiful location in Geoje. It was my first time visiting. On the day I visited, it was not windy at all. There are many walking trails leading up to and around the windmill and surrounding village. The views are of the ocean from the windmill are breathtaking and the little strip of land below is a little treat. You can sit there and rest or have a picnic. The famous Baram Ui Hotdog (바람의 핫도그) has a location there so be sure to grab a hotdog on your way to the windmill. There is a CU and Emart nearby if you need any necessities and a few restaurants. I'd recommend spending anywhere from 2-3 hours here. There are also plenty zones to take stunning photos. Enjoy!

I used Geoje Blue City Tours to get around the eastern side of the island and enjoy must-see places like Windy Hill, which was stunning. For 15,000 won I took an 8 hour bus ride that included not only Windy Hill but the western-style botanical garden in Hallyeohaesang National Park on Odeo island, and the stunning Sinseondae Windmill. My charming guide Mr. Kim spoke English and went out of his way to include me as I was the only non-Korean. Although the traditional lunch of anchovies three ways nor the price of admission to some of the sights were included (All together the day cost about $50), it was an awesome, easy way to see the major attractions. Because I was traveling solo, the website wouldn't allow me to make a reservation. I called and was instructed by the guide to just show up at the main bus terminal which made me a little nervous but everything was above board. If you have only a few days and want to see as much as you can without stress, I highly recommend this tour.

It seemed unusual to see a windmill in South Korea, but as a tourist attraction it was very busy. It has lovely views from the area around the windmill.

Quite the drive to get there but the views and photo ops are amazing. A fair bit of a hike to get to the windmill but it's a nice stroll through a small art village.
The sea views are incredible. A must do if visiting Geoje Island.
It is WINDY hill so take a cardigan or sweater.

Windy hills has a wind mill placed on top of a hill. While the windmill isn't much to see, the views out into the bay from the windmill is stunting. There are free parking at the base of the hill and from the car park, it is a short walk to the windmill.

It was a beautiful spring day very little wind, we drove down the coastline from Okpo-dong to Windy Hill, parking was scarce as the place was so busy. We decided to park up at the coffee shop Angel in us. You get a great view of the bay and the windmill from inside nice to sit and chat over a coffee with a great view on the side. We left the car there and took the quick walk to the windmill, its there you feel the sea breeze, fresh and lovely views. You can walk on further but we did not want to hog the parking slot at the coffee shop so we returned and left. The drive back we took the mountain inner road route the roads sidelined for the climb with beautiful cherry blossom trees. A lovely drive back with spectacular high point views along the way.
