We walked up to this viewpoint, surprised at how much there was up there on the hill. There was a great view over all of the city, plus public bathrooms and some stores selling the usual Mexican items.

We walked up to it, which was not really that difficult. It is worth the trip for the views, which are pretty good.

It's a breathtaking walk up the hill, with many steps to get to El Mirador, The view is nice but not spectacular. Been there once.... An easier way to get there is to take the trolley tour, which has versions in both Spanish and English,...More

A nice view of the city but a steady climb. I would suggest taking a taxi or the trolley bus to the top and then wander the street back to the city. Better views can be seen from some of the rooftop restaurants.

What a great way to get your cardio workout and be rewarded with a knockout view. We enjoyed our walk up through the garden and then the view was just beautiful. It’s no wonder why so many people love SMA.

We've ridden past this scenic outlook in a taxi or bus a hundred times over the years, but we never actually walked along it until this stay. Our home away from home is just two blocks north and a half block west. In the panorama...More

We opted to walk up to the mirador, which is a pretty steep walk. The view at the mirador was good (not as good as in Guanajuato - see other review). Lots of traffic, very little parking. Still gives you a good overview of the...More

This is an interesting question. First of all, regarding the ceremony, we would assume that you need a priest or a justice of the peace. For the priest, you would need to go and contact one at any of the local churches... More
