The Jardin is the heart of San Miguel de Allende, which itself is known as the Heart of Mexico. This is the... More

A nice inner city park with plenty of seating and excellent people watching is a bit crowded on weekends.

Great park for people watching. Go around sunset, and enjoy the beautiful views of Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel.

What can I say. You have to check it out if you're in San Miguel de Allende. This is my go-to place to soak up the sun for a while and people-watch. In general, people don't bother you here and there's a lot going on to watch.

All streets of San Miguel are leading to El Jardin and with the landmark of the Parroquia you will never miss it. This is a big melting pot were you can meet locals and tourists from all over the planet. This place is full of culture and history. Many restaurants and shops surrounds El Jardin. But just sit down and... More

A place to people watch from shady or sunny spots at any time. There is always something happening even if only children chasing pigeons! We found Mariachi bands, the occasional drummer or guitar player, Mexican families, friendly ex-pats, young lovers and incredible brake dancers!

Everything leads to the Jardin because it is the heart of the city. The area is full of locals and tourists. It is a lovely place to meet people from all over the globe. Church bells fill the Jardin reminding one that they are in a beautiful city surrounded by a "gathering" spot for San Miguel. There is always something... More

We enjoy spending an hour or two, when we walk to town, just sitting, watching people and reading. This is a great gathering spot gringos. Music, parades, weddings, tiendas and smiles abound.

The breakdancers, the street vendors, the music...what is there not to love about El Jardin. This was such an amazing vibe and we had a great time just walking around and taking in the scenery.

I loved spending time in El Jardin. This is the square in the middle of town and people watching. This environment is very colorful and safe.
