Beautifully maintained meeting place. Sooner or later, everyone in town ends up here. Very peaceful in the morning to sit and read the paper, get a shoe shine or just people watch. The people watching is simply the best. Later in the day, it gets...More

You can't miss El Jardin in San Miguel. It's the centre of town where all the action happens. There are always mariachi bands, large "puppets" walking around, lots of people, and shade under the big trees. The Parroquia, the Ignacio Allende house, and lots of...More

It seems as this is the center part of San Miguel. Lots of comings and goings from peddlers to brides to be being filmed. There is even a Starbucks. A must see place.

If you want to know what's happening in San Miguel, just walk to the Harding. the locals and the visitors are all there, and whatever is happening as far as a celebration goes, it's happening there. It's a beautiful center of activity.

El Jardin was a pleasant park to sit and relax. On Sunday night, the street dancers in their native costumes and the music and fireworks was spectacular.

Sit down and people watch for a while. We saw a mariachi band playing for a wedding in front of La Parroquia, Christmas creche scenes in Mexican style, and a whole panoply of life unfolding around us. A great place just to relax and enjoy...More

This square is really the heart of San Miguel, just by the Parroquia church. You can sit there and watch the world and his wife go by, possibly bump into friends, get your shoes cleaned, sit at one of the cafes under the arcades, buy...More

The Jardin is a perfect place to stop, reflect and watch life walk by. It is beautifully designed, well kept and filled with interesting people. And, of course, the Parroquilla is an impressive ornament.
