On Saturday & Sunday, local artists display their personal artwork and there's so much interesting to see. Around the block, one can stop for refreshments at the luxurious and welcoming Rosewood Hotel. If you walk there or back from the Jardin, make sure you take Calle ALDAMA for fantastic photos of the Parroquia!

We leisurely strolled this serene park this morning. The weather was typical for San Miguel - beautiful! Dozens of local artists and craftsmen had displays. We bought several small items and everything was reasonable priced. Seemed to be more locals than tourists, and the pace was much calmer than at the main square.

After watching a parade at the Jardin, we walked down Aldama to Parque Juarez, which is a beautiful municipal park where the locals come with their children to enjoy the lovely weather and playground. This being Saturday, the park’s walkways were filled with local artists displaying and selling their paintings. Later that week we again visited the park to see the annual flower and plant show, the Candelaría, which was very nice. And huge. And packed with people.

My wife and I walked through this park on our way back to the El Jardin from the Saturday organic market. Like every Mexican park we have visited, this one was a very well maintained and peaceful oasis. Parque Juárez is a great place to stroll, or sit and talk, a perfect spot to relax and think about things without the everyday distractions of noise and clutter. On the day we were there, there was an art exhibit spread along the ambling pathways. Very nice, indeed!

We visited in February when the park was filled with vendors selling plants, and it was delightful to wander around in so much beauty. When the flower sale was over, the park is a great place to wander, filled with families and people enjoying it. On weekend, artists show and sell their work. The neighborhood is also spectacular, so wander around there as well.

Loved Parque Juarez. Walked and did a little jogging early in the morning and even joined a fun and fairly competitive game of pickup basketball. Lots of pretty, isolated areas to sit and chill, read, drink a coffee, or people-watch. Highly recommend spending some time there whether you're going for exercise or to relax. Super-friendly people throughout the park.

A beautiful park, filled with pathways to walk and benches to relax. Lots of plants and greenery, as well as several vendors and artists with very colorful and unique works... Worth a visit, day or night.. I felt completely safe doing my power walk in the cool night air.

We visited on 16th Feb. According to posters, the flower festival was over but the whole park was still full of people selling amazing flowers. It was gorgeous to walk around. As we are visitors, I don’t know how permanent these flower stalls are. But even without them it would be a nice place to walk around and it’s a lovely area. Combine it with a trip to the amazing Luna rooftop bar at the top of the Rosewood Hotel which is very nearby.

Gorgeous park with a top notch playground for kids! Our kids (ages 3.5 to 6) loved the playground inside this park. Climbing structures, swings, slide set all with a fence around it to prevent them from running away. We went several times during our week-long stay in SMDA.

We spent about an hour walking and sitting people-watching in this park. We enjoyed our time here. Walking here from the Centro allowed us to see some nice houses on the way. Also forced me to read up on Benito Jaurez while sitting in the park.

Was the Parque Juarez a good place for running? My husband runs 10 miles a day and I was wondering if he could make it work there.
Thanks in advance,

Hello! This is a small park, 10 miles might be too much.
Regards,
Julian.
