Been here many times. The beach and the promenade are beautiful. Sea gently shelving so good for kids...goes out a fair way so loads of sand for building sandcastles etc. Great cafe on the promenade and toilets too. Lovely duck pond and great coastal walk...More

ideal place to relax and take things in etc. you tend to get left ALONE here etc although at times there are people around, (not a problem). great for walking and taking mans best friend for a stroll or romp.

This is a great place to visit the beach, good parking and amenities close by. Good for families but be careful of the tides.

Spent 5 days here in November. Many shops not open but coop, butchers and some takeaways doing good business. Especially recommend oceans bistro for eat in or takeaway
