Lovely weather and walked up from the Branscombe beach. Sat outside at The Old Bakery ... I remember when th older brothers were running it ..... anyway lovely coffee and toasted tea cake. Staff wonderful. Wonderful location just across from the Blacksmith.

Branscombe is an interesting village with lots of old buildings and interesting features. It's a pretty place, with friendly locals.

We stopped to see the smithy that had been working for a few hundred years. We saw articles explaining the history and the previous smiths. There is a lot of forged items you can buy.

How much is it to park your car in the village car parks (not the beach)?

It's free (it sometimes gets full during the hight of summer) alternatively​ you could get the 899 bus, it stops at the village hall.
