On a dull November day this beach was ours! Summer visitors enjoy better weather but also have to cope with the crowds. We took in the beach as part of a very pleasant walk around the village of Branscombe while staying at The Masons Arms....More

This PRIVATE car park has been working a scam for the greedy landowner since the 1950s. I put one figure wrong in the car no plate system and was fined £70 by the system which is corrupt and loaded in their favour. Keep away from...More

Out of season it’s worth the drive or walk down the valley to this beach. Beware in high season however , the carparj is expensive and chocker. Driving down here is a slow process as you encounter traffic in the single lane. But the beach...More

Sounds like a good solution! If you really must take car into village the village hall let's you park for a donation, that way you are supporting the community not greedy business.
