Beautiful landscaped grounds, with a large play area for the children. A very nice pub with an upmarket menu ,but, the meals were expensive. I would defiantly take a picnic. Take a trip round the lake on the little boat and try and spot the otter !.

The lake was beautiful for canoeing £14 for one hour. However the parking for £10 to only spend an hour there was not good. If you are going to use the outside park for children and spend the day with a picnic then I can see the parking is worth the entrance fee. I should have read a little more... More

This place has gone downhill big time. Took the kids and it's just a play area, NOTHING ELSE! if you wanted a drink you had to go in the bar area (great for kids), no coffee shop and the only ice creams were refridgerated tubs of rubbish. Nowhere to get the kids drinks or anything, I will never return here,... More

Overall we had a lovely day out. The children love the park and inflatable pillow. We spent all day there with no need to pay for the other activities. I do think the car park is over priced and there is no where to buy ice lollies which is a real shame as we were there on a baking hot... More

We visited with 2 children aged 7 and 9. Parking is 10 pounds but the playground was worth that alone! ! They had unlimited use of the jumping pillows which were great! We had a lovely walk and rented a boat. .7.50 for a whole hour which was great fun and we all enjoyed it. We took a picnic and... More

The day itself was great as it was our annual family get together and the weather was fab. The park needed work. The flower gardens were full of weeds, the toilets we dirty and there was rubbish everywhere (not enough bins) There was nowhere to by a kids icecream they were weird flavors in tubs and expensive at 2.50. The only... More

We went today with my children and our friends and their children I have to say it's a very beautiful place with plenty to do for all ages(if it's open) boating, go kart hire, pony rides, I did see a cow milking sign but didn't investigate that. There was a tree climbing thing with safety harness that wasn't open being... More
