Beautiful beach with little to no surf. Easy swimming with snorkel and fins. Gets (relatively) crowded on Sundays with young people playing loud music on bad speakers from their cars. The rest of the week it is pretty pristine.

This beach is fantastic. Many of readers have noted that most of the greater CABO area beaches are not safe for swimming. Playa Palmilla is swimmable, ....so go there At the HWY 1 EXIT, are small shops for food and drinks. There is also a newly opened organic grocery store. The stores are on the east side of the freeway... More

Beautiful little beach that is not far from San Jose Del Cabo and swimmable. There are local fisherman and pelicans.

Good beach but something but me in the water. So just be careful. Bring snorkeling equipment. We did not but there were snorkelers out.

We found this beach thanks to a recommendation. We were advised there was no swimming in the water near our hotel. So happy we found this place! The water was so perfect, the second day we stopped and bought goggles on our way so we could snorkel there. No crowds - it felt like our private paradise.

My boyfriend and I were staying in the Royal Decameron which was only a 10 minute taxi ride away from this beach. The ocean near our hotel wasn't safe to swim in so for my birthday we went out to palmilla beach to swim. These waters were incredible, completely pristine and not too wavy! We went at about 10 am... The beach is so beautiful and you can swim in it. Most places it is hard to swim on the beach due to the rough waves. Great for families. Bring a lunch not much to eat around there. You have to exit La Palmilla entering these gorgeous homes.. You make a left when you see the taxi drivers. You can... More

Took a taxi to Palmilla and rented an umbrella(must have). Swam a lot at this beach. Decent snorkeling along the reefs. Some waves when we were there, no problems for our group as we are all experienced swimmers. Helpful to pack a cooler. There are other things to rent there as well SUP, kayaks, etc
