Not a bad place to visit. It is clean and there's the park. Probably of more interest to Mexican Citizens or obscure Historians.

Loads of folks have mentioned how, clean, quaint and generally awesome this town square is. Through High Season on Thursday evenings all of the shops and galleries stay opened late for the Art Walk. This is a time when the town comes out! Don't miss this!

Lots of fun and rarely crowded. Many nice restaurants and shops. Still has the feel of not being a tourist haven. Very clean and friendly people . Have visited many times and each time there's something new. Spend an afternoon or evening.

Best time to go is Thursday nights Nov - April for the art walk or for the giant music festival in summer. Always lots of food vendors on the square and plenty of shops galleries to explore. The public bus from Cabo is just a few bucks too.

The heart of any Mexican town, San Jose's plaza is more spread out & sprawling than more traditional squares, which in fact usually are square. This is more L-shaped, starting by the Town Hall then wrapping around to the plaza; fountain (under renovation), flag, bandstand, church. There's also a couple of adjacent small parks, including a statue garden featuring San... More

We took a cab ($45) from Cabo San Lucas to spend half a day in the main square. There are a ton of art shops and jewelry stores not to mention stores selling all kinds of stuff tourists buy. It was quiet and very few cars ... some good restaurants ( we had lunch at La Dolce, which was excellent)...... More

I was there on a Wednesday morning and afternoon and I found this main square quiet yet tourists seems to ignore it when they past through. They go for the mission church then city hall then the shops all passing through this main square. This main square may not be that busy but it is nicely maintain and clean when... More

We had never been to the town core of San Jose Del Cabo before. It is so charming with its square so nicely maintained and all the colourful exteriors of all the shops lining the streets. There are so many interesting glass lighting and art stores here that you could spend days just browsing through the windows (though the owners... More

The square is surrounded by interesting shops and restaurants. Be sure to visit the Catholic Church. Even consider attending Mass on Sunday. We took a bus from our resort, and everyone was very helpful at the resort and in town.
