Not excellent but good...

We stayed at the Royal Solaris which is next to this stretch of beach. You can't swim here. It's good for a walk or to relax. They do have people selling stuff on the beach but... read more

Not much to do at beach - waves too dangerous for swimming, no paddleboarding, massages, restaurants, beach chairs for rent. It's nice for a long walk, but few access points due to all the hotels.

We've stayed in this area for many years. The soft smooth beaches are really nice and calm, and the warm water is extremely inviting. There are a few vendors walking along trying to earn a living (and I've bought a few things from them), but they aren't as bothersome as along Medano Beach. There are several hotels and condos in... Love the sound of the crashing waves. Just sat there and listened to the sound for an hour or so. There is absolutely no swimming although sometimes it is enticingly calm. The beach is lovely. It is a bit hard to enjoy if you are not staying at a hotel on the beach. I walked around a hotel and read... More

This has been my go to beach for a number of years, it has everything, the estuary, surfing, shore fishing, swimming (if your smart), concerts, restaurants, walking, horse back riding and ultra lights. The only problem is that there are a few access points, the hotels and condos restrict access to it and block the view from the road.

Love the beaches in the resort/hotel zone. The water is so clear, sand so soft! You can definitely swim in the water - don't listen to what other reviewers say! We weren't in for long but couldn't believe the fish and the clarity of the water. So beautiful.

We stayed at the Royal Solaris which is next to this stretch of beach. You can't swim here. It's good for a walk or to relax. They do have people selling stuff on the beach but if you say no gracias, they leave you alone. The waves crashing down are super intense and I love that sound. I could sleep... More

the beach along the hotel strip is great, waves can get a little rough at times so make sure you know how to swim

Nice quiet area. Not sure about the beaches other than where the Royal Solaris Hotel is but the ocean was very rough through our stay so no one was really going into the water. The sand is very hot and is not as pretty as Cancun's beaches. Lots of peddlers on the beach selling their wares.

This is a long stretch of a beach populated by a number of hotel resorts. Most of the beach is accessible by the hotel guests but there are several public access points and once you're there, the entire stretch is yours to enjoy. The beach is very clean, not at all crowded (in July... perhaps more crowded in the peak... More

If you are lucky to be in one of the hotels or resorts on this section of beach you know what a beautiful clean beach this is. Seems like the city provides weekly trash pickup. There are just a few venders. We found all the venders polite, friendly and not at all aggressive or pushy. This long beach has a... More
