Good to revisit this lovely area. Lived here many years ago and used to walk our dogs here regularly.. We always loved the peaceful, natural beauty and tranquillity. It appears, generally, to be more accessible now, less remote, but still beautiful. We had an enjoyable walk with our current dog.

Wonderful place to take a stroll and get away from it all. From the lush tall grasses down to the eroded coastline, we spent a very pleasant hour or so leaving the modern world behind.

A must visit if you find yourself on Mersea Island. There are lovely walks and a beautiful beach there too.

Love love love this place, I take my 2 small dogs for a lovely relaxing walk, everyday, cannot beat it, the scenery, the atmosphere, everybody is so relaxed and friendly when there, excellently kept, only downside is not enough dog bins, there's none down by the water along path, nearest one is halfway back up to car park!!

Cold but fresh walk round park. Lovely tea bar, toilets and access to the beach. Car park is pay and display but feels safe.

Great place to get some fresh air, followed by dinner at the oyster bar. Always check the tides as getting onto the island can be a nightmare!
