Stunning beach with loads of sand! Which means room for everyone. Parking a bit limited but worth it. Lifesavers were down there too ensuring it was safe. Loved it!

lovely little beach, busy even in winter as people bring their families, boogie boards and baskets to bask in the sun, sand and surf. always a favourite.

It has been over 20 years since I have visited Straddie but Cylinder Beach is still as beautiful as ever. Glad that we visited in winter as it was as peaceful as I remembered.

Great place to camp, good amenities and safe patrolled beach. Close to shops and a great place to wake up and watch the sunrise

you could take beautiful photos afar as the water looked as blue as ever and to get there you had to cross this pond like thing onto this small island then onto the beach i think the small island looked cute.
