A lovely day!

We had a wonderful time with Guido & Sally. They feel like you are spending the day with old friends. I can't wait to try some of the recipes at home!

Being out of towners with no experience on traveling outside of the city, we were a little worried about getting out to Fara Sabina, but the instruction provided to us by Sally were great. We made it on time without any problems on our first ever train ride in Italy. The tour of the medieval city and the Abby were... More

We had a wonderful day with Sally and Guido. The 40 minute train trip out to their place was very pleasant and the instructions Guido provided were very clear. Sally met us and took us for a walk around the quaint village. We then arrived at their home and were amazed at the spectacular view from their lovely kitchen. We... More

Loved the whole experience! Sally and Guido were excellent teachers and hosts. So cool to get to spend a day in the Italian countryside cooking and sharing a meal with our hosts! The brief tour of the area was a bonus! Loved it!

We wanted to take a cooking class and explore one of the hilltop villages surrounding Rome. Guido and Sally offered both. After providing us with detailed instructions to take the train from Rome to Fara Sabina, Sally met us at the train station and took us on a tour of Toffia, a sleepy, but beautiful, picturesque, and charming village. The... More

My 10 year old daughter and I took a half day cooking course with Guido and Sally and we can highly recommend it. We prepared pastry and pasta for a main meal and dessert and had the lunch on the patio overlooking the hills. The food was excellent and the setting out in the country was beautiful. Don't miss this... More

I am glad you shared a special day with us and that you and your daughter enjoyed yourselves. We were really impressed how your 10 year old daughter embraced every aspect of the day, and really helped in the hands-on preparation of every dish. Fabulous! We wish you both the very best. More

Such a lovely day and such a lovely family! We were a group of 4 and 2 of us had just arrived to Italy from the US the night before, so jet lag was an issue. The weather was rainy and cool. The perfect set up for a "stay at your hotel" kind of day. But I am so glad... More

Quite possibly our most favorite experience while visiting Rome. I had been searching for a fun activity while we were in town and none of the other cooking class choices quite seemed to gel with me. I found Convivio through happenchance and I am so glad! Communication prior to our visit was perfect with Sally. My husband and I are... More
