We visited while on the city tour that leaves from in front of the cathedral, well worth a visit, you can take photos without a flash.

I got teary eyed looking at the images on one wall. I'm not catholic so I don't know the proper wording. Maybe it's called "stations of the cross"? The one showing Jesus being lowered from the cross after his crucifixion, caused me to choke up...More

Doesnt say anything on the outside but just step in and youll be awed. You can't take enough pictures of all the details. Don't forget to check out the paintings along the sides. They show how catholicism was introduced to the Aztecs. Interesting. Realistic.

Beautiful! This is a beautiful church that anyone visiting Morelia must visit. It is a lovely street. We took the Tranvia and it has a short stop at this place.
