This is one of the most beatiful cathedrals in Mexico, and it is located in a really beautifull spot in the city, so this is one of the mandatory stops when you visit Zacatecas.

I estimate that over the course of my travels, I've visited at least a hundred cathedrals. Some really stand out. Others don't. This one I would place in the latter category.

The cathedral is very pretty! It is located in the center of town, it lights up the town at night. It is a must see. There was Mexican dancing all along the streets near the cathedral when we were there, absolutely amazing.

Especially the outside of the building is fascinating, I couldn't get enough from looking up to all that beautiful stonework. The modern altar is unusual and impressive.

Impressive church very antique on the outside and modern inside. It is just breathtaking!! Right in the heart of Zacatecas. It’s architecture is outstanding! Some people say they started building it in 1752 or even before. To me one of the most beautiful cathedrals.
