Unfortunately, there were no performances scheduled here during my (too) brief visit to Zacatecas. It's a beautiful rather restrained building with an impressive lobby.

The inside is beautiful, however it looks rather modern, but the outside is an eye candy without mentioning the colonual entrance to the theater.

It's a beautiful old theater, very well preserved and elegant. If there's a spectacle in there while you're in Zacatecas, it must be great.

We stayed in Zacatecas in September and didn't really want to go out to a bar and there was a cool Beatle covers concert in the main hall of the Theater ... really cool and almost surreal given how intricate the ols theater is inside...More

when we were there in the summer of '08 you could walk in in the evenings and heck it out. Groups of children were rehearsing and there was always actvity there. Down the steps from the Theatre dont forget to go into the "El-vis" bar...More
