I am really very disappointed! I was recommended visiting Waxham Barn and told how great it was for food. So, after checking first thing on their website and reading that it was open today, drove some considerable distance, only to find that the gates were...More

Erm.... It's a barn. It's a big barn, but that's about it. To be fair, they don't pretend it's anything more and it's free to enter so I have no complaints, but it's hard to get too excited. I'd have liked there to be some...More

Called in for late lunch in 17th September, expecting the usual menu for such places. Plumped for Mackeral Ploughman's. We've had some of the ropiest excuses for a Ploughman's over recent years and almost given up on having them, but the Mackeral option swayed me....More

This is a very interesting large barn which does not seem to be used to its full potential. There is a café on the site and also a bike hire company from which we hired bikes for a day. We found this a really good...More

We visit the Waxham barn cafe occasionally as it is a convenient stop-over after walking the dogs. The barn itself is of course a stunning historical landmark but not really utilised to it's full potential, and not part of the cafe (not even to shelter...More

Well worth a visit as such a fantastic structure inside. Nice tea room attached to the barn. Ideal to go to if it's raining!

16th century barn sympathetically restored, apparently weddings are celebrated there too. We were staying in Winterton-On-Sea and stumbled on this barn whilst on way home from Happisburgh, what a lovely barn, was made very welcome by Lady running the tea room even allowing us to...More

Sorry have not been able to get an answer. I would rather have my reception at Poppyland restaurant just a few miles from Waxham. You will find it will be a lot warmer, it is also a converted barn. Hope this helps.
