Always worth a stop to have a look around the barn using the audio description about the history of the barn.. Nice to go and look at the crafts on sale in the adjoining cafe too.

Thank you very much for your visit, we are delighted that you enjoyed it!

This is an important and interesting piece of architecture and worth a look. But do feel this is a lost opportunity. The Cafe is good if limited - well its a cafe not a restaurant. It could have offered local produce (food, crafts, beer etc.)...More

I am really very disappointed! I was recommended visiting Waxham Barn and told how great it was for food. So, after checking first thing on their website and reading that it was open today, drove some considerable distance, only to find that the gates were...More

Erm.... It's a barn. It's a big barn, but that's about it. To be fair, they don't pretend it's anything more and it's free to enter so I have no complaints, but it's hard to get too excited. I'd have liked there to be some...More

Called in for late lunch in 17th September, expecting the usual menu for such places. Plumped for Mackeral Ploughman's. We've had some of the ropiest excuses for a Ploughman's over recent years and almost given up on having them, but the Mackeral option swayed me....More

Sorry have not been able to get an answer. I would rather have my reception at Poppyland restaurant just a few miles from Waxham. You will find it will be a lot warmer, it is also a converted barn. Hope this helps.
