Well looked after birds, great free flight demonstrations
Visited with my parents and kids 4 and 7 while on holiday. Everyone enjoyed it. All the enclosures were clean and in very good condition. All water was clean and the parrots has lots of enrichment. Each bird had a bit of information about it next to its enclosure like where it came from and why it was there which I found interesting. Andy is obviously very passionate about what he does. The free flight show was very informative. Nice little play things for kids aswell as farm animals to see. We also enjoyed the nature walk around the lake. Lots of work has gone into this area. Would recommend, places like this need to exist.

    An amazing experience!
An amazing day! My husband bought me a half day experience here and I loved it! The owners are so knowledgeable, friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. It was fascinating learning about their journey since taking over the Center. A lovely walk around a beautiful lake, nice clean cafe, picnic areas, a play park, pigs, llamas, ponies, goats and all the birds of prey. Well worth a visit. We are local and we will return!

Fab sanctuary for the young & old alike
Had an absolutely lovely day @cornish birds of prey we arrived at 12pm & they let us no that the bird show had just started. We really enjoyed the show its clear the man Andy who runs the sanctuary is very passionate about his birds you can see how much he loves and cares for them especially when you hear him talk about their personalities was a joy to watch. From the bird with the attitude and reminding us that animals are more intelligent than humans lol. I loved the greedy barn owl he was very cute & the naughty falcon who was determined to stay out flying. As iam am also deaf & a lipreader I normally really to concentrate when listening to these kind of shows but Andy was very clear & could understand him which I was dead happy about. Thank you Walking round we met more characters and learnt of their storys and how they came to the sanctuary finding a forever home. My fav was the cockatoo Oscar who loves a chat as do I he got very noisy & talkative after our conversation. Definately worth a visit I took my nan & aunt who are 90 & 87 the sancturay is just the right size for them not to big just right. We enjoyed a lovely cup of tea & biscuits in the cafe after always happy to buy in the gift shop to help with running the place. Will be back in the near future

Well worth a visit, very clean, great variety of birds and animals, Such a lovely place and friendly. Kelly and Andy have done amazing with the centre and it’s still growing so all donations needed from the general public. Nice cafe with a range of food and drink to have while sitting inside or out. The Flying displays are fab the kids loved them

    Well worth a visit !
We booked to have 2hrs as a family on our own with the flying experience, plus an hour handling experience for our daughter. We had a brilliant time, Andy was really knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, he spent time explaining about the different birds and how he and his family have spent time building up the sanctuary. A thoroughly enjoyable time was had by all 8 of us with varying ages ! A huge thank you to Andy for making the experience fabulous !

Fantastic day out today. Very kind and friendly owners and staff (volunteers) chatting away showing how much they love all the animals in their care. Beautiful setting and scenery. Animals and birds are exceptionally well cared for. The flight shows at 12 and 2 are informative and funny, they do excellent work with the birds. Cafe prices reasonable and very nice. Very family friendly. Loved it!

    Wonderful afternoon.
Fantastic place. I would happily have paid the entrance fee, just for the demonstration with the Gyrfalcons and the Eagle Owl. Andy, who does the displays and is a co owner with his wife, is incredibly passionate about the place and this shines out in the bird of prey displays. The place is spotless, with a wide range of birds of prey, small animals, lovely woodland walks and a small cafe, that serves simple, but tasty food. A great place to spend a few hours.

Yet another superb visit to the Centre, Kelly and Andy are always so friendly and welcoming. Seeing and hearing about the birds is always superb. Was lucky enough to have a Photo Experience with Andy on this visit, and it was educational, interesting and a lot of fun - quite a lot of photos were taken.

Half day bird of prey experience
My partner had booked me a half day bird of prey experience, I cannot recommend it highly enough. It was truly a hands on experience and was able to spend a few hours with these incredible birds and gained a wider understanding of them thanks to Andy who runs the centre with his family. I would like to thank them all for what they do and the welcome they gave to me and my family whilst we were there.

An excellent and informative visit to Cornish Birds of Prey Centre. Not the best day weather wise but we were able to see 4 Birds at the flying display, all of which were excellently narrated by the Bird Trainer. Our Children loved the play area and seeing the Birds that where housed in their enclosures especially a pair of cheeky cockatoo's! Very reasonably priced and a pleasant way to spend a few hours.
