The South West Coast Path from Porthcurno to Penzance is dramatic but very hard work with frequent scrambling over rocks. Larmorna cove is a welcome break with its cafe and cool drinks, especially if you have run out of water on the hottest day of...More

Very narrow road with limited passing places to get to the cove but a very pretty cove with a small pay and display carpark and a nice tea room

It's not the most attractive of Cornish coves but there is something special about this place. The views from the cliffs are truly magnificent and the cafe is a good place to stop for tea and cake. Friendly service and a nice mug of tea....More

6 miles round trip to get here from where we were staying on foot. Coastal rout not safe owing to high winds and rain, so the walk was mainly on the road. Steep drop down to the cove. Everything still closed owing to out of...More

Amazing little Cornish cove. Secluded from the madness of the other busy coves. A great little gallery, cafe, ice cream and canoe hire. Could ask for more. An the view and walks are mamzing.

This is one of the less attractive coves in Cornwall and there's not a lot there really. However it can be incorporated easily into a SW Coast Path walk either from Mousehole or south to Porthcurno if you wish to do a circular rather than...More

The road down is narrow and must be difficult in busy times..we went at 7am in full sunshine and it was beautiful. The waves sound amazing on the stones and against the harbour. Wonder sea/cliff view. Café looks good and has lots of outside seating...More

Of course the sea and rugged coastline are spectacular and the broken harbour wall a tribute to the power of the Atlantic. What ruins Lamorna cove is the predatory car park attendant who will watch you walk away and pounce with a £60 fine as...More

LINOLEN
Is there any other form of transport down and up to the cove itself ? As some other Cornish places have Land Rover 4x4 vechicals that ferry people up and down. I find it very sad that some people are quick to complain about parking and fines, it's very simple, if you don't pay you get fined, same throughout the country. Looking at the negative comments, it would appear that there is no appreciation of what natural beauty is, so is it really that bad ??? Any comments most welcome Thanks Lino Len

No, sorry there are no other forms of ferrying by road to the cove itself. The bus stops at The Wink. I spoke as someone who had lived in Lamorna, I was shocked to see how it had deteriorated, sadly through the total... More

The cove owner is a very reasonable person who I believe would agree to your request,it's always better to ask when on private land but I can't see it really being a problem as far as the owners concernec
