If you are in SLP anyway, drop in. For 15 pesos it has the best descriptions of the costumes worn by early clergy. If you're into that, it's a great display. A little bit of paintings, hardware and ceramics for a brief exploration of SLP's history with the Spanish.

The museum has very few objects inside. The only room I liked is the one with the old maps, which I found quite interesting. If your visit is short, you can skip this. You can admire the building from Plaza del Carmen

What kind of Anne is that for an attraction? The view consists of the very pretty Plaza del Carmen and, if you turn your head, the even prettier Templo del Carmen. During part of the week, the plaza doubles as an open air market, and all the prettiness is hidden under a sea of booths. As for the Museo Virreanal,... More
