This beach is absolutely beautiful and the sand is white powder. The beach chairs cost us 300 pesos each person. Or $15 US. Plus there was a fee to get in. I don't remember how much. Drinks cost about $8 US cocktail and 3.50 beer. Was disappointed that there wasn't really a secluded spot at all, people walking up the... More

We got there with the Collectivos from Playa del Carmen. It is approx. 1 km (1/2 mi) walk from the highway. You arrive at the most spectacular sandy beach with the turquoise warm water lapping the shore. The restaurant at the foot of the pathway is excellent too. Keep your bracelet that you purchase at the gate & keep your... More

This is worth the trek away from the resorts and tourist areas. The water is so beautiful! We brought our own beers and snorkel gear and just made a day of it. Best part was seeing a stingray while snorkeling! Tip: It's 40 pesos to get in, but if you buy food at the restaurant and show your receipt, they'll... More

We checked out Xph-ha because of the TripAdvisor rating and we are so glad we did. Exquisite white sand, Caribbean blue water beach- so worth the small (20 peso) admission fee

Many of the beaches in the area have been modified to make it easier for people to enjoy. This is a wonderful exception. I have always been an outdoors type person and this place really feels very natural. Not a whole lot to see, but truly a great beach with gorgeous views.

I had read about this beach and it sounded and looked so beautiful. But seriously- staying on the beach in Playa was beautiful so what did this beach have to offer that our resort beach did not? What it offered was a much more expansive beach, a very bohemian vibe, fewer tourists and clearly a hang out for upscale locals... More

This is a true and still quite preserved Caribbean beach with white sands and turquoise waters. There is not so much construction around so you can take a relaxed walk or great bath.

We were taken to this beach by shuttle from BelAir Xpuha resort expecting we would have access to drinks and snacks as we had at the resort. We were made to feel as imposters. Could only sit in certain chairs, use the beach bar and the waves were scarcely.
