A must when you come to Durango.

The cathedral is very nice and also the Zocalo. You also must have a coffee or drink in Avenida Insurgentes. Lovely street. The best in Durando.

Our visit to the Cathedral was both as tourist and as a wedding guest. The antiquity was without question. A definite stop while visiting Durango.

Beautiful décor and interior. Church and funeral were taking place during our visit. Hope to return for a better view.

I'm sure it's "special" for the folks who grew up here, but it's hardly inspiring. If you've been to Europe, then this isn't going to impress you.

Returning to Durango after 50 years, such a thrill. The colonial city is as spectacular as ever, bringing back so many fond memories,,,,🎼La tierra de los alacranes, El Parque Guadiana tienen mil recuerdos🎤❤️ Viva México🎋

This cathedral is active and located near the main plaza in the Historical Zone. Beautiful but similar to most cathedrals of the same age.

A beautiful and wonderfully maintained cathedral. Recommend that anyone interested in colonial churches go see it, as this will give a very good sense of what major churches must have been like back in the day and what they could be like now, with little effort. The parish priest noted that the costs for keeping look this were not much... More

Okay if you are into churches. A regular cathedral. Nothing special. Nice location in old town Durango.

It is maybe one of the most well maintained cathedrals I've seen in Mexico. It has a really nice architecture and since the city is really small it is easy to arrive. As almost everything at Durango it has a legend of its own. It's said that there was once a nun waiting for her lost love... Now you can... More

It was a nice experience, there is a coffee place place call cucurumbe a couple of blocks away. We ended up grabbing a cup of coffee and taking a walk to the cathedral, looking for the "monja", a town legend which is said to appears on one of the towers.
