Very Nice cathedral. Has a nice plaza across the street with plenty of restaurants and shops around. Worth a visit.

Visited the amazing Cathedral and were blown away! The architecture is unbelievable, the colours and size is just a must see. Be sure to visit when in Centro. Across the street is the square with shoe shiners, vendors and people just wandering around. There is a walking street (no cars) near by with celebrity statues and a make shift hollywood... More

This beautiful cathedral located in the centre of Durango began to be constructed in 1695. It is one of the more impressive Mexican cathedrals on the inside. It is a must see attraction in the heart of the nice downtown area.

We were not able to fully visit the cathedral as there was a service ongoing. However, our limited view did display a fine old cathedral as is found in many larger Mexican cities.

The cathedral is very nice and also the Zocalo. You also must have a coffee or drink in Avenida Insurgentes. Lovely street. The best in Durando.

Our visit to the Cathedral was both as tourist and as a wedding guest. The antiquity was without question. A definite stop while visiting Durango.

Beautiful décor and interior. Church and funeral were taking place during our visit. Hope to return for a better view.

I'm sure it's "special" for the folks who grew up here, but it's hardly inspiring. If you've been to Europe, then this isn't going to impress you.
