very beautiful park for a nice stroll.

I totally enjoyed walking in this park. There also is a "zoo" with some snakes and birds that had been injured and that they are taking care of. It's an oasis in the city

It's a very nice place to relax alone or family, where you can see living big fishes and turtles, ideal to have a nice time.

This park is right downtown, perfect for a nature stroll after breakfast or while you're exploring the centro. It is well-kept and simply beautiful - a great example of the natural beauty that makes Xalapa one of the prettiest cities in Mexico! There are a few areas of the park that are not well-taken care of, but honestly, that's to... More

Something for everybody here even though it's not a massive park, everything is free to see or use, from zip lines to watching the turtles or basketball to walking under giant tree ferns.

Xalapa is a place of incredible plant diversity, microclimates, mountains, water and here a park to showcase it all. The movement of water throughout the park was lovely. Walking/Running trails, play equipment and basketball courts offer something for everyone. Lacking some maintenance but with an original genious in design that plant communities are thriving in their environment. Would love to... More

Beautiful small hidden park. Well worth a look-see. The park is not far from the city center - within walking distance. I went early in the morning, and I had it all to myself. Nice walk.

Just up the avenue from the bustling town center, you'll be enfolded into a tropical marvel of water, fish, turtles and stone work. The restaurant overlooking the gardens is fine, the attached panaderia has the best tiny pan, slightly sweet with cheese and sesame seeds.

It´s a nice park to walk around with your family or couple. Very green and clean. It has bridges and Kioskos and banks to walk and sit and have a nice time.

Extensive park close to historical center of Xalapa. It is really nice for a walk around and if you are looking for a nice place to eat there is the Estancia de los Tecajetes (I did not go because I was told that the restaurant I am about to mention had a better price point and better food) or the... I would call it a "forest" rather than a park as there are many tall trees that makes a walk there like one in a tropical rainforest. Nevertheless, there are features of a park like artificial ponds with fish and turtle, and a small house like a mini-zoo where they keep eagles and parrots, which are not as impressive as... More
