A nice showcase of local art.

The Agora always has different shows going on from local artists; they are well-lit, and it's a nice space. My only complaint is that they won't let you use the bathroom in there!

Cultural center in downtown Xalapa

The Agora was remodeled about 15 years ago by Arquitect Bernal Lascurain and very well done, having a large art gallery, cinema theater, galleries and a balcony cafe upstairs with a nice view of the Lakes area below.

Interesting space, hit-and-miss exhibits

The art is displayed in a space that has a descending series of platforms beneath a traditional brick vaulted ceiling called a "boveda." It's a small gallery, free, so you have nothing to lose spending ten or fifteen minutes here.

Hay Festival

I went to the Agora to listen to some conferences during the Hay Festival, I found the seating in the theater confortable but did not get a chance to do other activities at this place
