About
At family owned and run Bremerton you’ll experience the real Langhorne Creek. Our newly expanded tasting room and cellar door is based around a restored 1866 stone barn with our new tasting area, large verandah and sprawling lawns, all set amongst the vines. You can taste your way through our premium wines, or if you prefer, select from one of our seated wine or gin flights. It is the perfect place to sit back and relax with our regionally inspired luncheon menu including a variety of platters, tasty gourmet pizzas and desserts. You can soak up the atmosphere of the old barn, dine alfresco on our back verandah, or kick back on the lawns with picnic rugs and lawn games. Art lovers can enjoy exhibitions on the mezzanine level, as well as David Dridan’s famous ‘Barrel Ends’ Collection in our dining room. Our cellar door also offers an extensive providore selection of locally made gourmet products for tasting and purchase or you can make your own platter and enjoy on the lawns.

We had been quite some time ago and it was excellent so we decided on a bright sunny day to head over for lunch. First impressions were good, an excellent relatively new carpark, new welcoming entrance and tasting room and excellent toilets. From then on it was extremely disappointing. We had made a booking and waited at the bar for service. While we were approached by three different staff who asked whether or not we needed attention, each of them said they were busy and would get back to us. 15 minutes later they did! It then required some time for them to find the booking and arrange for us to be seated. The place was not packed and didn't seem busy so we assumed that they were short staffed.
We perused the menu and decided on pizzas which had been excellent on our previous visit. Ordering at the bar required another significant wait and then some repeated explanation of our simple order (2 pizzas, 1 gluten free plus a couple of drinks).
The drinks arrived after another significant delay and then the food was served shortly after. The pizzas were ordinary at best. The Margarita is a straightforward pizza but the items in the topping were hard to identify and it was burnt in part. The gluten free Mediterranean pizza was even worse. The base was almost impossible to cut with a knife and fork and once again sections of it were charred black and the toppings hard to identify. We did eat most of them being hungry but when I paid the bill and was asked how our meal was I replied, "Disappointing.' Asked to clarify I did so and the waitress said she'd pass it on. There was no mention of a reduction in price, an offer of coffee or any effort to make good this disappointing experience.
The three or four staff with whom we had contact all seems to be going through the motions rather than being invested in the business. Culturally and culinary, Bremerton's has gone backwards since our last visit.

Please accept my sincere apologies for your disappointing visit. We pride ourselves on offering an exceptional cellar door experience and obviously this time we were unable to do so. I will offer no excuses and hope that if you ever do return to Langhorne Creek you can give us another chance to show you a wonderful experience.

Let us just start by saying we finally joined the wine club! We meant to last visit, but delivery address issues were problematic at the time. By being a club member you enjoy 20% off their already fabulously priced wines ALL THE TIME. Plus limited release offers, foodie events, museum release invitations etc. why not, right?
We really enjoyed trying out the new wines since our visit 12 months ago and once more Brad was a gracious host. His side kick (sorry we didn’t get her name) was also very hospitable on what was a busy Sunday for these guys.
This winery produces many alternate varieties, rather than your run-of-the-mill French staples (although they do these very well also) so that’s what draws us to this place the most. You might not know how to say the wine type, but definitely have a taste!
Two GF pizzas were delicious and plentiful and we left with a few choice wines for drinking now, as well as a special magnum as a gift for a 50th birthday coming up soon.
Their selection of charcuterie and chockies and tasty treats are all so well priced, it’s worth checking out the shop too!
Thanks team for another great visit, we’re looking forward to our first shipment in March!

What a surprise! We have been here on numerous occasions, but the transformation of Bremerton Cellar Door is devine. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Wines are great. After tasting we had lunch. Chorizo and Olives with herb and salted bread, and the best platter in Langhorne Creek......hands down. Make a booking you will not be disappointed. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for the lovely service Brad! We had a tasting when we couldn’t pick a glass to have with lunch and all four we tried were beautiful. The food was top notch, a pizza and the dips between two was plenty of food. The venue itself is wicked with art painted by various artists on wine barrels. Highly recommend.

Arrived about 11.30am, decided on early lunch. Staff very helpful, we opted for the tasting plate. Local smallgoods, cheeses etc, it was really tasty, and encouraged us to purchase from the dairy bar, and also some of the other pickles etc. Of course we enjoyed the wine as well. Had to call in on our return and replenish the goodies we had already eaten. Artworks on display were added attraction, Beautiful setting, top marks.

Firstly we must thank Brad for his exceptional service which was the perfect blend of relaxed and attentive - by far the best customer service we experienced throughout our visits to Barossa, Eden, Hills & Langhorne the past couple of weeks. What an asset to Bremerton Wines!
The wines were great and it was a pleasure to taste some alternative varieties as well as some with a bit of age. We are looking forward to trying the temp/grac blend (which was sold to us at our request as it’s usually only sold to club members shhhhhh).
The two GF pizzas we had for lunch were really tasty and a fabulous dough which you often don’t get with a GF option. Cheers to the chef also!
They also sell/taste gin and have an extensive array of charcuterie and other nibbles you can take away to enjoy later.
Would highly recommend stopping in for a tasting and some eats.

This is a winery too add to your to do list. From its beautiful grounds, location and cellar door experience no detail is missed. The wines are marvellous and the attendants knowledgeable, professional with out being pushy. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit .

Have always enjoyed our times at Bremerton and recently organised a lunch to celebrate my partner's 60th birthday and it was exemplary.
The staff could not be more amenable and accommodating from the first contact to make a booking to our final farewell.
The fixed menu was great, delicious and plentiful and they also catered for our gluten free and other food allergy friends.
Would highly recommend and will be going back again!!
Can't recommend enough!!!!

I went to Bremerton based on a good rating, as part of top 5 wineries in area. The wine and gin were enjoyable. There was a wide variety of wines to taste and no tasting charge which was a nice surprise. Gin flight was enjoyed.
Service was lacking though and often i had an empty glass and wanted to taste another wine. Even making eye contact didn't help! I wasn't certain who was serving us and it felt like we were ignored at times.
I am torn between 3 stars and 4 stars rating but customer satisfaction is important.

It was a long drive to get here but well worth the effort. A wine region with a difference. Loved it.
We were made to feel very welcome by the staff. Lady who looked after us certainly knew about the wines.
The environment is lovely, very well set out. They also sell a range of gourmet foods that I found irresistible.
