Really interesting local history displays and jam-packed with leaflets and information about the local area, what to see and visit. Free of charge with its own little cafe, all run by local volunteers, and right by the top of the path to the Millennium walkway...More

excellent museum - full of interestng fum facts for the solefmily and we could take our two well behaved labradors. I highly recommend this for a few hours - you can stop for afternoon tea or morning coffee

Having lived in New Mills 1952-68 went back to see how it had changed, Though tucked away Heritage Centre full of information with helpful volunteers on Bank Holiday Monday providing detail of Millenium Walk that as a child area was no go!
