We booked the beginners' caving experience as part of a weekend away hiking etc around Buxton. Pete gave us a clear idea of what we could expect but made clear we could "scale" our trip depending on our appetite for adventure! The kitting out was seamless courtesy of the forms he sent in advance, & and all the equipment was in good condition. Beth, our instructor, was friendly, approachable & "brought the rocks to life" with her explanations of the geology and the history of the exploration of the cave system we had visited. I would recommend Pete & his team without hesitation for the quality of service they provide and the value for money it represents.

Such a great day!! Beth was a fantastic instructor and the day was incredible. We visited two different caves during the day, and the itinerary was completely flexible so we could tailor to our needs. Beth was so friendly and informative, we felt in such safe hands. All kit was provided as you get really muddy, but this just adds to the fun of the day. Couldn’t fault it at all.

Pete was consistently helpful at every step in arranging the trip- all questions answered clearly, promptly and in a kind manner. We went with Beth on the day, who made us feel safe in the caves and gave plenty of room to push ourselves with some fun and challenging sections without any pressure. I actually got stuck at one point (my own fault), but with some calm and clear guidance I was able to get out again without it escalating. Would recommend specifically to people who are interested in trying out caving for the first time, though if you are experienced I'm sure they would be able to provide you with a fun challenge.

Excellent experience. For an excited 12 year old, a nervous 11 year old and an 'I will support the kids' adult we had a great time. Full faith in Andy, our instructor and nothing would give us a negative view. Thank you Pete and Andy. My son is now looking to join a caving club and this experience has fuelled a passion in him. Not for those that are not prepared but anyone looking for a new experience this is highly recommended.

A fantastic experience, each and every time. This is why we keep going back. The care, attention and support that goes into every event from Pete and Beth is a joy, from booking to a great day out...underground. Highly recommend caving and mining with Peak Instruction, a no pressure environment with knowledgeable and passionate professionals.

This was mine and my friends first experience of caving. Our guide, Beth, was brilliant - fun and knowledgeable, of both the caving and the amazing geology. Felt safe and informed throughout and the only really challenging parts were purely optional with no pressure to attempt them. Sitting here now I really wish I'd pushed myself a bit more! Would highly recommend and we're actively thinking of doing it again.

We absolutely loved our first caving experience with Peak Instruction. Our instructor Beth was excellent and clearly very passionate and knowledgeable about caving. Great email communication with Pete throughout and the booking process was a breeze. Overall would highly recommend Peak Instruction to anyone thinking about their first steps into caving.

Our 3rd experience with Peak Instruction and everyone has been superb, greatly organised and massive fun. Caving with Pete, Woodland Adventure Day with Bob and now Weaseling I can highly recommend to anyone. Chas was very patient with Weaseling and made it a fun experience for everyone.

Easy and quick to book. The actual experience (climbing) was hassle free as well. Our guide, Chas, was extremely knowledgeable and had put a lot of thought in to where to climb considering the weather conditions, was extremely patient and was very experienced. We would 100% book again next time we visit.

Absolutely amazing experience, with very knowledgeable, supportive Beth! My 18 and 21 year old sons (and myself) loved every minute. We felt very safe. The boys were amazed at the world beneath. Beth was very informative about the history and formation of the caves. I would have no hesitancy in recommending them and hope to return again. Pete was always clear with all communications. Thank you Both
