The Crispin Inn is my favourite venue for a pub lunch. I live a good half hours drive away but I visit at least once a week, often twice. This is a lovely old pub in a picturesque village and visitors range from locals to walkers and me, who just likes to be there. The food is traditional home cooked.... More

We had lunch at The Crispin on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Both our meals were very tasty and the homemade chips were spot on! Very reasonably priced with friendly, efficient staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be calling again.

My mother and I visited today in the glorious sunshine. The pub is so quaint and pretty. We sat in the garden with the dog and ordered some food. I have to say it was amazing!! One of the best lunches I have ever had in a pub. On top of the wonderful food, the staff are also fantastic, so... More

Let me start by saying we've visited the Crispin on two previous occasions and the staff present were excellent and the food and beer good. However on visiting the pub today at Sunday lunch i was met at the bar by a female member of staff who i can only describe as downright rude. She left me five minutes standing... More

Dropped in on the way home in the hope we could be fitted in for an evening meal. We were not disappointed, only had to wait a short time before a table was allocated and our order taken. Enjoyed a delicious meal, very tasty and generous portions - my lasagne was the best I've ever tasted. The good service and... More

A regular haunt for evening meals - great food, choice and at a very reasonable price. Lovely welcoming pub with olde worlde charm. Visited recently for Sunday lunch and whilst the food was good value and as tasty as always, we did feel the choice was somewhat limited. It won't stop us from returning but maybe not on a Sunday... Called in on spec, and glad we did. We were found a table quickly, given a menu and drinks. Ordered and my starter came super quick and followed by our mains. Everything was hot, cooked well, just the right amount. Beautiful meat and veg. Staff attentive and very fair prices. Would not hesitate to return.
