We took the chair lift rather than the enclosed gondola and it was worth it! We went on several in this area and this was, by far, our favorite!!

On a beautiful day, the Lake Louise Gondola is the best. A very HIGH, distant view of Lake Louise is the reward from the top. Occasionally a ranger is at the top offering information and even an animal skin or two (this was our only...More

We rode an open chairlift to the top (or as far as possible in the summer). The views were wonderful. It was one of our favorite things about this trip, as we were away from the crowds. We ate breakfast, prior to the chairlift-there is...More

We took the chairlift to the "top" (learned another one at the top goes higher, in winter). There is a choice of enclosed or open-to-the-air-style "chairs" to use. We used the open style, and didn't regret it. The experience can be exilirating - or scary,...More

Go up this mountain on the four man chair life as you get better views going up and down. From the top you can see across to Lake Louise - stunning.

A must do for this area. The view from the overlook at the gondola was just beautiful. Option of enclosed or exposed ride up and down. We tried both and the open was a much better ride.

We took the ski lift to the top where there is an interpretive center and a restaurant. We got up there too late to eat, but did check out the interpretive center. On our way to the interpretive center we spotted a grizzly bear grazing...More

Ae took the gondola up the mountain o a partially sunny day. We chose enclosed due to the breeze, but the young and adventurous hit the open chairs. A short walk down hill, that means it's a little up hill on your return, to the...More
