Easily accessible by road at the beginning of the Icefields Parkway, Herbert Lake is a beautiful mirror lake. The mountains reflect perfectly on the lake surface and except for the trees in my photo, I wouldn't have kn own which way is sky and lake.

This lake is immediately next to the Icefield Parkway. It is very easy accessible from the road. We were all alone here in June. Lovely lake.

Closed this late in the season but we snuck in with the maintenance guys. A short walk from the car park gives you a stunning view.
