Yes, maybe the tea house is touristy, but you will need a break and it's a terrific excuse to take one. The servers are amazing and they make the experience that much more special. Go inside so you can see the pulley system they use...More

Great hike, a little crowded but worth it. I did this in July and there were still some patches with snow, but nothing you can't overcome. The teahouse at the end of the trail is a delight
