Whenever I need to cool down, I go to two places: Glenbow Museum or Prince's Island park. The park is lovely and it's got benches for you to sit on when you want to read a book. The park is pretty huge, and you can either read a book or take/go for a stroll/jog/run or watch the ducks or just... More

Nice park to walk around. With good paths, a playground and the river this makes for a great place to spend a day.

We decided to go for a stroll through the Park after dinner, before our drive home. It was a lovely evening & the Park was filled with all ages enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The playground had many young families playing & laughing, it was nice to see. It seems to transform people, those in the Park are relaxed, smiling &... More

Being from a smaller city, I don't venture downtown often. But whenever you go to PIP you can be assured there is always an event going on or about to start! In the summer they often do plays on the grass and have food trucks near by. My only negative would be how crazy busy it is! When you have... More

Prince's Island Park is a very pleasant green space in downtown Calgary. It is part of the Bow River pathways and close to restaurants and pubs in Eau Claire and not too far from businesses downtown or even Kensington. Combine it with a visit to the view from Crescent Heights directly north of the park (you have to walk up... More

PIP is my favourite park in calgary. It is a busy park during the weekends and now that pokemon hunting is in right now, it has become busy during the weekdays as well. It showcases nature's beauty right at downtown. I love the river with all the ducks swimming around.. nice view. There are live performances durin summer.. i hope... More

The park was clean and huge you can stroll here all day with some benches you can relax on. It's a nice place for family or friends to picnic but can sometimes be busy. There's a pool for toddlers to play.
