I was on campus on other business, but had some time to see what's happening at the Olympic Oval. They had pulled the ice, and so there wasn't anything going on inside, but it did give me a chance to take in the beautiful banners...More

An excellent training facility, it also has public skating at select hours. University parking can be an issue at times.

It was extremely difficult to find how to park and get there. When we finally found the parking garage, you had to pay to park and walk through the snow so we just gave up going in. Disappointed!!

a legacy from the '88 Olympics on the University of Calgary campus. A huge building that is big enough for two hockey rinks inside of the speed sating track. A marvelous multi purpose building that still houses the speed skating world cups

Nothing outstanding. it performed its function and has continued to be useful for many activities that are part of the sports centre in this part of Canada. Speed and figure skating contests? Sure. Much else? Well, go check it out for yourself.

It doesn't look it's age, it's a modern as anything built today. And it doesn't act its age, it's still a critical training venue for many athletes. It's heart is the speed skating track which is still ranked one of the best in the world...More

This is a nice stop off while visiting Uni of Calgary. Brings home the Olympic feeling. Also gives you a chance to see Olympians practicing!!!

Attended with a volleyball tournament. This was the speed skating track at the Olympics, now its a multi-use facility. Nice facility.
