I love this park, but the people who use it are becoming less and less friendly and neighbourly. I love to walk the paths, but unfortunately, many dog users don't pick up after their pets, and it can be quite disgusting. Lots of interesting history, flora and fauna, now being overrun by uncivilized people.

If you like walking, running and short hikes this park is a great area to explore. This "Inner City Park offers many trails and great views overlooking the city. At one time this park was on the outer edges of the city, but now it is well inside city limits.

A huge park in Calgary's north side that is basically the flat top of a very large hill. When walking in the park you are above the city and you feel like you are in the middle of the wilderness. A great place to to relax and shed your worries.

You can visit Nose Hill from several trail heads. Some start out relatively flat, while others start out with heart thumping elevation. Great training for mountain hikes! Pathways are not maintained for winter conditions, but with good micro spikes, you can hike the hills year round.

Nose Hill Park's prime feature is that it has not been 'developed' with paved pathways, playgrounds or concession stands. It is a long broad hill that projects toward the downtown, though far from it, which gives a spectacular view of the City of Calgary in every direction. There are unpaved pathways that criss-cross the hill, which is mostly covered with... More

Nose hill is an excellent place to "get away". Even though it is within the city, it is a big enough park where you forget the hustle and bustle. There are lots of walking paths and bike paths. It provides an awesome view of the city in many directions.

After my food tour, crave kensington, I needed to walk off some of the delicious food. I went to nose hill and was amazed. So many trails, so many vistas, see the university, the airport, the calgary tower. Lovely to see so many people walking their dogs. A real gem in the heart of the city

One afternoon, my son and I had 2 hours to kill and decided to go for a short hike up on Nose Hill Park. This natural area is a peaceful place within the city with spectacular views and lovely flora and fauna to enjoy. We saw three deer in the trees not far from the path we were walking on.... More
