We visited on a cool day,but the sun came out early afternoon with no crowds to fight through.The panda bears were a delight to see & we were thrilled to see so many animals that were active,gorillas & leopards playing,lions roaring & penguins swimming.
The zoo was quite well done and the best part was the panda exhibit which is broken up into two sections, allowing more people to experience the pandas without being overly crowded. Seeing pandas close-up was a treat.
Enjoyed Calgary Zoo greatly, who had a decent variety of animals.
Area's well sign posted, helping to find attractions easily.
Penguin attraction was excellent, not seen something like it before, but not a person who visits a lot of zoo's!
