LOVE everything about the Calgary Zoo but the layout. Not sure if it is due to the flood but you can no longer walk in a full circle around the zoo, thus it makes it hard to visit all the animals and all the buildings...More

Overall a modest sized zoo with a good variety of animals for one to see. Disappointed in the gorilla and bison enclosures. Much too small. Mountain goats and sheep could also use more trees for better privacy/shade for them. Area for the dinosaur theme park...More

Not totally impressed with this zoo. Under construction, not a fluid flow of pathways. Animals in small enclosures.
