Always a favourite - I went as a child and now we take our kids. Nice place to visit for all ages. Need to be able to walk comfortably. Historic rides from midway are fun for kids and everyone loves touring the historic buildings, riding the train.

The park is great although many of the features I enjoyed in the past are gone. The one thing that drove crazy was the pay parking. Already paying to enter and now paying to park...when you have no other parking options. Terrible

A must see if you go to Calgary, we enjoyed a full day there and went on all the attractions. It was very hot but there were plenty of places to get out of the sun. Had a very nice meal in one of the eateries and a cracking ice cream.

Myself and my family were visiting with a large family group from Ireland. We had a really great day. The park is so well designed and the staff were all excellent. We loved the steam train, pony ride, hotdog and beer lunch, ice-cream and sweet store!!!! It was just like being a kid again and we can't recommend it highly... More

The place is BIG, very big. The Gasoline Alley vehicle museum is a great place to kick things off. A short walk gets you to Pidnamore train station for a ride on the steam train. The SS Moyie paddlewheeler is a must see and is always packed. There are tons on things to see, old buildings, street theatre performers, wagon... More

Growing up in Calgary seasons tickets to Heritage Park were a must for my family. I loved going there and riding the Steam Train, heritage rides, poking around the stores on main street and especially stopping at the bakery for a gingerbread man and the candy store for some penny candy! One of my most memorable experiences was when I... More

For some reason I had it in my head that all one would find here would be a living museum and that there would be little to amuse young children - what was I thinking? It was amazing and my three-year old son didn't want to leave! They have an authentic amusement park midway with with some simple but enjoyable... More

There is so much to say about Heritage Park, I don't know where to start. My partner and I love to go there - we go for senior's day every year as well. There is an awesome boat ride, with views that far surpass anything you could dream of seeing. There is a train ride that is so much fun.... More

The last time I was there was at least 30 years ago, and it sure has changed and grown! There were many additional buildings. The volunteers were knowledgeable and interesting. The wagon tour was a lot of fun. The little shul was fascinating.
