We spent an entire day here in August. We rode on the train, visited Gasoline Alley, the amusement park, many of the historical buildings, and the shops. It was a great day. We bought lunch, and snacks from a couple of the many food vendors. There were lots of people there that day, but because there are so many food... More

There were some really great aspects of Heritage Park. We went on a summer week day, and do not have children. We arrived just under two hours before closing. We were assured that this was plenty of time. The dilemma we had was that many parts of the facility felt more like a theme park than a museum. The midway... More

Wife and I, two seniors from Washington State, spent an afternoon at the Park. We enjoyed it. It is a bit expensive; we paid about 45 Canadian dollars for the two of us. Fees for children is less. The good part is that everything is included (except food) once you have paid the dues. There is a real train ride,... More

One of the very best attractions I have ever attended and I really enjoyed today! And so did my 10 yr old. We rushed back from Drumheller just to get this attraction in on our trip here and I really wished we had more than 2 hrs and 10 mins only! I also wonder why they must close the park... More

This is a hit with the boys from the rides to the old fashion candy store. We've been here several times and still have not seen everything.

Very interesting display of the past. Would have liked to spent more time here, as half a day wasn't enough.

We have been to Calgary four times now but this was our first visit to this park. Parking is free and admission is reasonable. Once inside all attractions are free (included). There is a train ride, a paddle-wheel boat ride and a ride in a horse-drawn wagon. There are also lots of shows, displays and historical attractions. The ice cream... More

This is just a wonderful place to visit. You can walk around at your own pace. Each building has people in them you can ask questions. I really enjoyed talking to the printer. The also have a paddle wheeler you can take a walk around the lake and a Steam train you can ride around the grounds. There is also... More
