We Visited China Town whilst in Calgary, there is a nice little market and everyone was very nice and welcoming. The area seemed quite run down in general but you could see there was a lovely sense of community spirit.

A compact Chinatown as they go but some nice quirky shops. Nice smells from the cafés and restaurants. Very short walk from downtown Calgary.
