I have been to this museum a few times now, and I find it is very educational for everyone especially for the younger generation to learn about and appreciate what the men and women of the Canadian forces have done to allow Canada to remain free. There is always something different every time I revisit . Definitely a must see... More

This museum does not glorify war but brings you near the conditions our brave armed forces members saw. It has so many fascinating exhibits and truly is quite remarkable. I was so impressed and moved by the detail. It is a MUST SEE for visitors and residents alike.

I hadn't been here since they opened up the fighter jet exhibit in the outdoor tents, so I thought it was time. The Military Museums not only put Calgary's military history on display, they also participate in the entire cultural life in the city - they were showing amazing photographs in conjunction with Calgary's annual photo festival. There is so... More

Very interesting museum, particularly the regimental galleries. Some very advanced displays, that bring the stories to life in a very appealing way.

I always loved going here as a kid. Its fun and interesting to read up on the city and country's past but also to have a more hands on experience. Gives kids an inside look into the military.

Well worth visiting as well laid out and very friendly and helpful curators. Even our two 7 year old grandchildren spent a happy time seeing all the exhibits and said that they had had an exciting time and would certainly like to visit the museum again.

Our extended family has visited the museum several times, and grandchildren have been here with school or scouting groups. We visited on this occasion as part of a Stampede Breakfast that was held in the adjacent parking lot. Free admission for attendees at the breakfast was very welcome, and several in our group opted to tour the museum afterwards. We... More
