We watched "The Audience" last night at Theatre Calgary and we weren't disappointed! This is our 3rd year of getting season tickets and the shows are always good with a bit of humour (or a lot) and amazing sets and acting. It was a wonderful walk through the years of the Queen's interactions with various Prime Ministers of Britain and... More

What a great visit we enjoyed. It was our first time here and we loved it. Staff were friendly and knowledgable. Cash bar where we were for our play which kind of bothers me. But it is what it is. Overall, we loved the play, staff, and theatre in general.

Went to the production of "A Christmas Carol". The play was marvellous, but we found the theatre itself really interesting, too. Having parking right under the complex with elevators that take you right up to the doors was great, especially for my father-in-law, who has some mobility issues. Visibility seems to be excellent all around the theatre, and the acoustics... More

This a not only a timeless classic, it's a wonderful version of this tale. Excellent sets, costumes and music is only half the story: this cast did it so well you leave the theatre wanting to spread joy. Bravo theatre calgary, please keep this beautiful tradition alive!

The last performance we went to was Da Kink in the Hair... which was excellent! In fact we have been to quite a few and they are well done and very professional, and all so different, from the Little Prince to a Christmas Carol which we are going to see next week. The service for drinks before and during intervals... More

My wife and I attend regularly to Theatre Calgary. Last evening was no disappointment to see Bad Jews. It was an act play for 90 minutes. We had great seats in the main orchestra seating about 6 rows back to the front stage. The seats are comfy, lots of leg space and I do enjoy the fact you can now... More

I could use this space to launch into a really passionate review about The Little Prince, but I don't think that really is the point of reviewing Theatre Calgary. You're likely going to visit the theatre during a different show, so I'll give a bit of a rundown of my experience with the theatre itself (but please go see The... More

OK, so I first have to put it out there - I'm a HUGE The Little Prince fan. For the purposes of this review that can be both good and bad. I'm going to talk about the good first. The pilot and the little Prince were casted beautifully. Their chemistry was perfect for this production and they were both fabulous... More

Fantastic staging, lighting, actors, & music make this musical a must see. I suggest you either read the book or the synopsis carefully before the show starts & remember in Act I the pilot is watching the action but cannot intervene (like Scrooge in Christmas Carol). Then sit in the very comfortable seats & enjoy a magical evening. The children... More

Saw The Christmas Carol at Theatre Calgary (Sat matinee). We were immensely impressed with acting, scenery and singing. Stephen Hair was fabulous as E.Scrooge with great support from the cast.Audience was a mix of young and more mature - the kids were thoroughly engaged throughout. A great way to start/enjoy the Christmas season.

Thank Charlie M
