Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I took 3 beginner golfers here as it was the cheapest option in town and looked decent. For 4 of us to golf 9 holes with 3 sets of rental clubs was less than $100, not to bad! The course itself is a decently kept par 3, and is a city ran course.
On the City of Calgary website, this course is promoted as being extremely beginner oriented and welcomes beginners. This attitude did not seem to apply once we were on the course. The lady who was the started that day came off as aggressive, and started out by warning us to keep our pace of play up, even though we hadn't even tee'd off, and the group infront of us took a while on the first hole. After we teed off and were walking up to take our second shots, the starter once again felt the need to say make sure you keep your pace up. I found this quite odd at a beginner course, that wasn't even that busy when we were there.
The next few holes were fine, until hole 6. The same lady that was the starter, was now driving around in a cart, going group to group telling people to pick up their pace of play. I looked at the score card and we were only 6 minutes off the pace set on the card. We witnessed this lady complain to the group ahead of us, and the group 2 ahead of us as well. When she finally got to our group, she insisted that we needed a paper outlining the etiquette and rules of golf and seemed very unhappy. It was ridiculous.
This course is priced right, and the layout was friendly for beginners, but the starter ruined the experience for us. Trying to rush golfers, at a beginners course, is a joke. I would not recommend going here.

You simply cannot beat the price and experience. $30 for a family of 4 w/rentals. This is a great course for new golfters, kids to seniors. Lots of tree's, still challenging for seasoned golfers wanting to work on their short game. Easy to park, pay, checkin - just a positvie experience.
