This is a great place for a city hike. Take the time to explore. Either along the Bow river or in the old growth forests. You can also rent canoes and paddle boats in the pond.

We found the new renovations and upgrades to the park a nice change. The park is well maintained and very scenic. The staff are very kind and courteous. We would definitely go back.

Family oriented park, kids are safe, very neat and the closeness to the river and you can actually sit by the bank and get lost in its beauty.

The setting is wonderful -Bow River, trees, grass, good pathways, bathrooms, picnic area, treat store and a dining room which we didn't try. We did a nice 3.5 k loop. I would definitely go back.

Not only is the boat rental not open yet, but as the beginning got July the Cafe is still closed. It has been rebuilt and according to The City website is expected to be open sometime this summer.
