Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Having lived near this park for several years I have explored it extensively. From the awesome paved trails to the gravel and dirt trails that narrow down to walking through tall grass as you shortcut towards the Elbow river bridge it is a nice place to visit. One of my favourite spots is next to the marina watching the sun set reflecting on the water.

The visit to park was fun. It’s beautiful in the summers, wide enough walking track considering the social distancing thing and good to see volunteers reminding ppl about physical distancing.
The play area for kids is good as well. Overall a good experience.

If you are training for a half marathon it is a great area to run around. However in the winter and spring look out for slippery sections. I have heard you can fish for pike there too.

We had walked in this park quite frequently, and in the "good old days" is was a great place to spend some time. Recently, it's been very infuriating how few people were taking social distancing seriously, with many walkers, even joggers, going two abreast, not trying to share the path, forcing oncoming walkers to walk in the dirt and mud. As a result, we started wearing masks, and were mocked a couple of times as a result. There are some stretches near Glenmore Landing where there are dual pathways that the City could turn into safer, one-way routes, but that kind of idea seems to be beyond the comprehension of their "professional" staff. Might be a while before we go again...

It's always disappointing when people are getting sick and dying of a highly contagious disease, and people in popular parks just don't seem to care. To get to the Weaselhead area, which we had hoped would be less busy mid-week, you have to go through this park from the south, or North Glenmore Park in the north. As on our earlier visit, very few people were observing health regulations relating to distancing, with people in groups of two and three walking abreast, hogging the centre yellow line, not budging an millimetre. Joggers were huffing and puffing past us, not even trying to maintain some sort of clearance. The City has even added two new elements we had not seen before, a "Bike Pump Park" and an experiential park with features you could play to make music. We didn't see any hand sanitizers, and even on a Monday, there were FAR too many people crammed in, not social distancing, using these otherwise interesting features.

It is a park full of lush grass and a few park benches. Most people are cycling or walking on the pathway. It is a great place to throw the frisby or play football. You could also bring a picnic lunch and bring everything you need as there are no vendors in the park.

I went fishing for little while. I've been there many times. It's a nice place, people are friendly, and good fishing spots, if you know where to go.

South Glenmore is great for a hot summer day. There is a fabulous splash park for the kids and a gated green area (good to contain wandering kids).

Glenmore park is a really great pathway along the Elbow River. If you follow it far enough, you can go down into the river bottom, you feel like you are out in the wilderness, not still in the city.

I spend a LOT of time around here. Great for a pleasant walk, and so on, though nothing especially of note to crow about. Still, for a dragon boater like me, it's great to relax in the woods once in awhile.
