Awesome sounds

Great sounding concerts no matter who is playing, also like the comfortable seats and the way they are positioned in the theatre. Always a good time.

Great acoustics, lovely theatre. Have enjoyed Symphony, choir and band events, all of which were excellent. Dress for temperature fluctuations.** Cold drafts circulate regularly. Wear a shawl or jacket that you can easily take on and off. PArking is $10.00 for the evening and there is a 5-10 minute walk underground; limited surface parking unless you want to seek and... Not a bad seat to be had in the Winspear Centre. Beautiful building and the acoustics are incredible. Great for a concert. I attended four speaker sessions and all lecturers raved about the building.

Any musical event hear is great because of the acoustics. Also if you can find a performance that features the organ even better. Have seen bands, the symphony, and choral events here. Great seating, bar in every lobby for intermissions and you can book and pay for your intermission drink on arrival so it is waiting for you.
