I revisited this place during the 2016 Fringe Festival to see Mike Delamont's show called, God is a Scottish Drag Queen. I have not been here for a while and this is the first time here for a Fringe play. The staff were great and I was ordered to get the popcorn by my better half. I was pleasantly surprised... More

This place is a film lover's dream. It's a beautiful, historic venue with big, comfortable seats and a selection of independent films playing year round.

Rather small but cozy, just like the good old days. The selection of movies is very nostalgic, a nice getaway from the mega theatres everywhere. Prices at the snack bar are reasonable

The Princess Theatre, on Whyte, is in a nice location. We sat in the upper balcony; okay movie screen, clear and reasonably bright for an old venue. My personal downer was with the slacker staff and the strange games with popcorn refills they play - despite encouraging comments it turns out only the large gets a refill, and in a... More

Always love seeing movies at this art-house cinema. Great location on Whyte Ave in Edmonton. Always great titles, both indie and mainstream for cheaper than the big cinema houses.

Watched the Danish Girl in this old style movie theatre with the old velvet curtains. Small screen, small seating area, small quiet crowd of mature adults. Sound at a level acceptable to old ears. $8 tickets. Short line up.

Grand old style theatre. Popcorn tastes like popcorn and all that good stuff =). Management is going to change for whatever reason near the end of January. I'm hoping the legacy will continue.

We enjoy coming here anytime we can. Stunning venue and enjoy the old vintage style this theatre brings. Comfortable seating and delicious snacks to compliment any movie.

Located in the center of Whyte Ave, Princess II is the basement of the Princess Theater. To get there, a long set of steep stairs. I didn't see an elevator for disabled people, nor a washroom for them. The theater itself is cozy, good seats, good screen. This is an old historical building, very well kept. The place was very...
