This municipal building's pyramid shape is strikingly contemporary.

This is where City Council meets. On the exterior is a large wading pool with fountains for kids to enjoy. The interior has a high ceiling with a large set of stairs. This makes it an ideal site for choirs to perform or for photos of large groups to be taken.

We were impressed with the glass pyramid and the whole surrounding area is worth a look. Unfortunately the building itself was closed when we were there (later in the day) so we didn't get to see inside - but we liked the outside very much. looks like there has been major redevelopment in this area and it is an interesting... Pretty building they have the fountain that's great for hot days and there is different things like taste of edmonton etc at certain times. Plus it's surrounded by different venues, library etc. And easy LRT access. On the down side you get the homeless wondering near by the parking is expensive and the main underground parking has a extremely low... More

This area was a huge redevelopment and I thought it was a waste at the time with all of the fountains and hard cement. However, the city events team has put a huge amount of effort in to make this a usable area and now you often find many people there even without an event going on. The big issue... More

Was there for Street Performers Festival. The City Hall itself is a busy place, but the plaza is the place to go. Pool for kids to paddle in. Great fun.

Visited City Hall and loved its beautiful setting in Churchill Square, with the fountains and ponds outside (you can paddle in the pond !) . Very modern interior and exterior Architecture. Fascinating history around the walled galleries showing history of Edmonton, from its origins to modern day, Exhibits of "Declaration", First Nation memorabilia, Photos of all the City Council Leaders,... The city hall building is impressive with the triangular dome reaching out, but on a nice day it was great to see children playing in the water surrounding the area, worth a quick look.

This building is worth going in and looking up. The pyramid is impressive and really looks like it should be an important government building. Lots of different activities run on many of the days.

The e park meters are totally unfriendly to coins. We have been downtown on two separate occasions with no meter parking anywhere to be found. To top it off, the paying with coins is a sham, as the coins slide through and then a credit card has to be used. You have to walk half a block also to find... More

The wading pool makes City Hall a great place to hang out, especially when the food fair is on, it's a great outing for anyone.
