Mill Creek Ravine park is a popular park for trails: walking biking, picnics, dog friendly, i.e. many people walk their dogs there. There are lovely older & quaint neighbourhoods around it. On the ? north side of the park (closest to the pool), there is a lovely restaurant/coffee shot/cafe/bistro that really "hits the spot" after communing with nature. Walking clubs... More

I love this place and take my dogs here all the time. The bottom unpaved trail is an off leash dog area and is also used as a mountain bike route. The top paved trails are for cyclists, pedestrians and dogs on a leash. There is a creek and an area where dogs can splash around in the water this... More

We love to take our dogs here. They get to run, explore, and even swim. The lower path is like walking in the forest. You can hear the odd sound (siren) but most noise is quite low. Many people walk this path and most people are friendly.

Love this park and off leash opportunity. Great place to walk. Only issue is the City allows cyclists who ride too fast and without regard for safety of walkers. Cyclists also wreak havoc riding through the woods and ruining the park's undergrowth and wildlife habitat. Sad the City does not monitor or license cyclists .

This is my favourite walk in the City. Great for a easy stroll in all seasons. Safe for the children and is dog friendly!

I always go here for a short walk and to get a few photos of nature. Love how quiet it is, and there's some streams / water areas that also make for cool photos. Worth checking out!

My mother in-law and I met my brother who lives in Edmonton here for a walk as he suggested. We are from Calgary/Okotoks. It had just snowed the day before a lot yet the pathways were already cleared of snow(on the paved path). My brother likes to mountain bike here. We walked on the paved and non-paved trail. It was... the river valleys in edmonton city and the area around it are so beautiful. it is actually quite cool that they build a city right across these parks and managed to preserve them. the mill creek ravine is nice, right in the city, but still you cant tell you are not in the wilderness.

I really love to ride the river valley with my family and friends, and walk it too. The Millcreek Ravine is part of the awesome parks system Edmonton has to offer and allows you to escape the concrete jungle. Pack a picnic and hit the road... trail!

beautiful and scenic trials through the ravine. some are paved and some are not so you can choose what you like. Small bridges and crossings so you have a variety of ways to go.
