As a teacher that has government as part of their curriculum I found the tour to be quite interesting, and the building itself was beautiful. The guide was informative and willing to answer questions, two thumbs up from the teacher parents but for our young daughters the trip was agony and they informed us that it could be listed in... We stopped in to tour the Legislature Building and ended up having a private tour with one of their outstanding guides. He knew everything about the building, people in the pictures, how the government ran etc. We really enjoyed the tour and the building has so much history.

One of the nicest and impressive historical buildings in the city. Wish there were more. They have beautiful grounds and free tours as well. Loved the music that was being played and the Christmas lights.

Taking the guided tour of Alberta's Legislature Building was both awe-inspiring and educational. It's a beautiful work of architecture, and the history shared on the tour is very informative and educational.

For being a government building and all, this is a very fun place to take the children. During the winter there is ice skating and sledding; during the summer there are all sorts of pools to play in. There are usually a few hot dog stands in case you get hungry. The kids love going there.

Last summer we took a tour of the Legislature building. The tour was very informative and highly interesting. The building is in pristine condition and was interesting to see.

Nice for a stroll around the area. Close to the river. Close to Jasper Avenue. Not much more to say.....overly expensive attraction to house government goofs!

An attractive building in a lovely setting. A pleasant easy stroll in gardens round the fountains. A really nice atmosphere.

Lots of history within this beautiful structure. Absolutely wonderful gardens, water fountains, wading opportunities to cool off in hot weather and offers many photo ops-popular wedding photo locations. Skating area in winter also. Tours available certain times with lots of great historical info. Certainly worth a visit anytime of year but prefer summer personally!
